Three Weeks Left to Enter

There's only 3 weeks left to enter the 2020 Queensland Mining Awards - take advantage of the opportunity before 3 July.

The Awards celebrate the spirit of innovation and collaboration that we enjoy in our industry. We’re on the hunt for stories of businesses that are excelling, from one-man bands right through to multinationals. Our panel of expert peer judges and industry leaders give weight to the awards – basically, you don’t want to miss out on your chance to enter!

We understand some companies are unsure of their eligibility to enter, or whether it’s worth the time to put together an entry. Entries are streamlined and don’t require wordy answers. Here’s the eligibility questions to ask, and remember:

No matter your business size, your clients, management structure or staff changes, if you can answer ‘yes’ to any of these questions – you’re in with a chance!


Been a part of an innovative supplier, contractor or major mining company collaboration?  Enter the Collaboration Award

Worked on a project within the resources industry as a supplier or contractor, and saved time and/or money for your customer?  Enter the Productivity Award

Used an innovative approach or innovative product in your business? Enter one of the Innovation Awards (separate awards available for mining/contractor and suppliers)

Given back to the community, donated to charity or facilitated a great staff incentive program? Offered programs that encourage women, youth or indigenous employment? Enter the Community, Staff Engagement or Equal Opportunity Award

Launched a new innovative product or service? Enter the Best Product Launch Award

Initiated or completed a safety initiative that resulted in demonstrable improvements in safety? Enter the Safety Award

Do you have an innovative approach to rehabilitation or environmental protection? Enter the Environment Award (open for the first time in 2020)
